Our Work

The members of Delta Omicron Lambda dedicate many hours to serving others.

This semester our members completed over 1,600 service hours!

Each semester our members can be found on campus raising money for Russell House through our different fundraising events.

Our Philanthropy,

Russell House

DOL spends many hours of service helping Russell House, a local women's shelter for victims of domestic/sexual violence. Our members join hands with other volunteers to help make it possible for Russell House to continue to provide countless services to survivors.

Annual Soup Dinner

Fall Fundraiser

DOL’s annual Soup Dinner is the primary philanthropic event organized each fall semester. Traditionally, Soup Dinner occurs on the 2nd Thursday of December.

DOL invites members of the Missouri S&T and Rolla
communities to enjoy bottomless homemade soup, desserts, and drinks.

ALL proceeds go to Russell House, and we raised nearly $3,000 at our last Soup Dinner.

Purple Week

Spring Fundraiser

Purple Week is a week of fun events leading up to our spring fundraising event for Russell House. All proceeds from events held during this week also get donated with any proceeds from the big event at the end of the week. The spring service event has the potential to change each year, but in recent years, this event has been a philanthropy car wash.

Service

Bettering the Community

Each weekend, DOL hosts service events for our members to partake in. These typically take the form of a community cleanup for our members to pick up litter/debris from parks or along roadsides. These events are for the beautification and overall betterment of the community.
